In wish to offer children and youths quality living of spear time, to encourage them to be creative and critical thinking, recognizing oneself and their own needs as well as developing sensitivity for needs of environment (family, friends, society), we have applied in year 2008 in a frame of MOL for public competition of free time and protective activities with project SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR.

Project was conceived in a shape of workshops, where our main method was discussion. In that way we wished to offer children open and save place for topics which were for them most actual in interesting and which they are asked to chose themselves (influence of media, tolerance, racism, sexuality, love, friendship, drugs, parties, professions, free time, ...).

Beside this workshops we have as well organized creative workshops (origami, pottery, drawing on glass, ...) and two whole day trips (Rovte – Dom Medved and Pokljuka), where our main topic was ecological awareness and socializing.

Because we wanted to work efficiently, we decided for continual work with permanent group of children. In that way we connected with primary school Dragomelj and primary school Ledina.

We finished project socially responsible behavior in December 2008. After talking to children and consulting with teachers, we decided to continue with project. Trough discussion, observation and analysis we have noticed that lot of children have difficulties with social integration and self-esteem

On this basis we have decided to continue with project SELF AWARENESS AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION.
For 2009, we expanded our work also to primary school Livada.
